Dreiburgen Baronial Council Meeting - December 9, 2003 in Corona, CA Baronial Welcome: Thanks for coming out to the meeting. Production of scrolls has become burdensome to the Kingdom, so all geopolitical areas will now make their own scrolls. Baroness Robynne has master pages for each canton to take. Their Excellencies had a great time at Queens Champion Equestrian. Seneschal Welcome: Please sign in. We have a regnum sheet going around. Please correct any incorrect information. Please sign the Permission roster if you want more than your email address listed on the website. Domesday reports are due to Kingdom officers and the Seneschal, due by Dec 31. Upcoming Events: Dreiburgen Yule, Caid's 12th Night on Jan 10, Steinsee Anniversary on Jan 17, maybe Gyldenholt Anniversary on Jan 31. Arts & Sciences: There is only one cantonal A&S officer, the one in Gallavally. Nothing is generally going on during the holiday season. Chatelaine: No report Chirurgeon: Request that the Barony purchase a 5 gallon cooler for upcoming Crown tourney. Chronicler: December Dreiburgen News is available at the meeting as well as being sent out electronically. If any regnum, calendar, or meeting changes are noted, please send to Mistress Edwinna for correction. Constable: Nothing happened, all is well. Exchequer: We have money. Report will be emailed to the Seneschal. Herald: Damashi will not be at Yule, so Lady Marie will take over. He will be at the next Kingdom Heraldry meeting. A marble Baronial seal has been commissioned. Who will possess the seal? The Kingdom Seal is kept by the Scribe Armarius. Possibly the Baronial Seal can become part of Baronial Regalia. Damashi will continue to be the paperwork Herald and book Herald, Lady Marie will be Court Herald, and Lady Mary will be Field Herald. Historian: We have history. Lady Marie has donated a foot-tall stack of old Crown Prints to help catalog Dreiburgen events in the past few years. Library: We have books. Please look at them and check them out. If you have checked out any books in the past, please return them. Lists: Queens Champion Equestrian happened on December 7. This was a kingdom event, so Kingdom Lysts took care of things. Marshall: We have fighters. There was a Kingdom war practice in Redlands on December 6. About 60 fighters came out and fought. The new QC Equestrian is our own Master Damales. Minister of Children: No report Web Minister: We have a website. It is currently being updated. Gallavally: Gallavally is alive and well. Mons Draconis: Mons Draconis is alive and well. Sancti Geronimi: No activity since the Pagus dinner. There will be a December meeting, though the date still needs to be determined. Steinsee: Steinsee is alive and well, with plenty of rocks growing slowly. Armorers Guild: The Guild meets the third Sunday of every month starting at noon and going until people get too tired. Culinary Arts Guild: Miriam and Eoin are working on the charter. Kingdom Equestrian Guild: QC Equestrian was on December 7. Master Damales won the closest final they have ever had. Several events are coming up. The William Marshal tourney on Feb 29, the Emprise tourney on April 17, as well as Equestrian practices in August and September before Great Western War. Jewelry Arts: Next meeting is January 6th. They will be going over wire jewelry. Moniers Guild: Working on Crown Tourney site tokens. Scriptorium: On hiatus for December. Back on schedule on January 12th. Gadfly: Master Aldred had no report this month. Dreiburgen Yule: We have just over 50 reservations, expecting 60 to 75 people. Everything is all ready to go. It is a damp site. Steinsee Anniversary: January 17th at Covington Park. There is the possibility of not having a feast. Sancti Geronimi Anniversary: March 14th Spring Crown: April 17th. Now have tentative luncheon food budget. Park wants a down payment. Crown Prints announcement has be sent in. Mons Draconis Anniversary: May 1 New Business: Baron Liam and Baroness Luighseach will not be at Yule. They will be going to Calafia Baronial Step down/step up. They will take along those things people would like to donate to the gift basket. The next Crown Prints Lick and Stick will be Thursday, December 18 starting at 7:30pm.
