nic Lochlainn, on October 27 and 28th, in celebrating our Anniversary.
The site will be at the beautiful
Bogart
Park, located 4.5 miles north of Beaumont at the north end
of Cherry Valley. The theme will be Samhain Eve, the traditional
celebration of the Celtic New Year eve, otherwise known in the
mundane as Halloween.
In proper celebration we will be
having a masked ball and revel on Saturday night.
Mistress Robynne the
Grey is scheduled to be our Dance Mistress
Our day-time event will feature
a tournament for both heavies, lights/rapier & boffers. For
the heavies we are planning a single elimination combat, "un-dead"
melee, and a double elimination tourney with a special "Bye"
auction for fighters before hand. In addition a NIGHT HUNT
is being planned by Lord Ulfblod Berserkr. Fighting will be
proceeded by the traditional helm auction.
Lights fighters who are interested in attending
need to contact
in advance so that we can set aside eric space and plan for
marshalls.
Day long arts events include
a mask making competition, bardic in the theme of the day, turnip
carving competition, scriptorium/calligraphy competition (including
kids categories), and a children's quest.

Fees: Day only: - $5 per adult
over 12, $3 for children 5 -12, under 5 free, family cap at $16,
merchants pay a fee of $10 which includes one site fee & may be waived
if the merchant donates a prize valued at $10 or more.
Overnight camping: - add $2 per
person. Our event does not include an evening feast so please bring your
own food and libations. This is a discretely wet site.
Food: -there will be a cold
collation lunch (bread, cheese, fruit, iced tea) provided for those who
rsvp that they're coming

From points west - Follow the 10 fwy to the Beaumont Avenue/Hwy
79 exit. Head North on Beaumont, through town, to Brookside.
Turn right on Brookside and drive to Cherry (1st stop sign).
Turn left on Cherry and drive to the very end of the road. Once
inside the park, Follow the signs and the road to the right.
